Big Week for us

>

Earlier this week, on Tuesday July 21st, would have been our first son Chaffin Michael Edward Whitaker's 3rd birthday. We celebrated by taking him his flower cake and some balloons. It was a very hot day, but some big storms came in later in the evening and helped cool things down.

On Friday, I was 6 months pregnant...another mile stone down, and the babies are kicking up a storm! Michael was able to feel them starting last week and has been feeling them ever since. It is a weird sensation to have both of them kicking at the same time. Most of the time I can tell which one is which, just amazing!

Today, Sunday July 25th is our son Chaffin's 3rd Angel Day. We spend the day today, reflecting on all of the things that he taught us while he was here, and how many lives he touched with his short time here on Earth. We miss him and will cherish him forever. I know he is looking down on us now, making sure his brother and sister are both healthy and thriving. Rest in Peace our Angel, We love you!!

acting like identicals for now....

Today I am 22 weeks. At this stage they say they are the size of a Spaghetti Squash!

The babies have been moving around quit a bit, still nothing on the outside. Yesterday the babies were measured at 1 lb, 1oz each and the heartbeats were both at 155. For now, they are similar, but I think once they get here, we'll find out quick the differences!!

The doctor didn’t have much to say yesterday, we met a different doctor and he was ok. He didn’t really do much today, since my BP, protein and weight gain are looking good. We sat in the waiting room a long time, that place was so packed we barely found a place to sit!

On the 4th of July we watched the fireworks from the Metropolitan building downtown St. Louis at Desiree and Josh's wedding. It was really nice to see them and not have to fight the crowd down at the fair! We also got to see part of the air show, as it was going on during the wedding ceremony!
