September Fun

A few weeks ago, we took the babies to the zoo (on Mommie's birthday!)  Reese, loved watching all the people and the animals!  She kept pointing and laughing.  Grant was not as amused.  He did not care too much for the people or all of the animals.  In fact, he tried to get away from the Goats in the children's zoo as fast as he could!

This last week, Grant has really been pulling himself up on things.  I am sure it won't be long and he will too be cruising the furniture like his Sis.

Wow, what a good week, I think both babies have slept all night long the past few nights!  I should be well rested, but I still feel tired!

Random News

Grant was doing some crab walking last night., so he might be close to pulling up on things.  He is still happy to crawl around...really quickly!!!  He is so fast! 
He likes to make fun noises;  when you move his chin with your hand, he goes crazy making loud noises.

Reese has really been paying attention to every little thing we do and tries to mimic different sounds and actions.

Neither of them have been sleeping well lately, one or the other, or both are up at least once a night.  Not sure if it is teething or something else. 

Grant and Reese both LOVE the bathtub, especially now that we are letting them sit in the tub and splash around.  They take baths together right now, and like playing with the water toys.  They both get really mad when you take them out...even when the water is ice cold.  Last ngiht I took Grant out and was trying to dry him off, but he took off crawling to the bathroom again.  He was back in there before Michael could get Reese out of the tub!  

They really enjoy crawling after one another and playing peek-a-boo with each other and others.  Nana said Reese was laughing in the car at Gage who was peaking around the corner in the car seat (he was in the very back and she was in the middle seat, facing rear).  I know Grant really loves to laugh at Uncle Craig too when he peaks around the corner.  They are learning to crawl up stairs at Grandma and Gramps' house too.  And enjoy racing each other!  It is so sweet to see and hear them play together...when they arent stealing toys or biting one another!.

11 months

On Thursday, September 8th Reese and Grant turned 11 months old!  I can't believe this year is flying by so quickly!  They are turning into toddlers right before our eyes!  Unfortunately they were both really crabby in the evening when we got home, so we didnt get any pictures.  Stay tuned, they will be coming soon....

Here are some stats:

Reese:
Pulls herself up on furniture, and anything she can
Loves to walk while holding someone's hands
Can sit down from a standing position
Babbling ALOT
No Teeth, but it looks like one might be popping thru soon
Eating more Regular food, and less babyfood
Still drinking from a bottle, but less bottles a day
Can drink well from a sippy cup
Will give you a kiss and a hug if she feels like it
Wearing 18 month - 24 month clothes, very few 12 month things fit right; wears size 3 in shoes

Grant:
Is very fast when he crawls
Getting stronger when he walks assisted
Loves to jump on pillows and roll on mommies big exercise ball(he tries to do it on the small balls, but its just not the same)
Speaking his own language, but sister seems to understand
Has 5 teeth; two on bottom, three on top
Eating more Regular food, and less babyfood

Still drinking from a bottle, but less bottles a day
Can drink well from a sippy cup
Loves to give hugs, only kisses himself in mirrors (just like daddy!!)
Wearing 12 month, but he can wear some 18 month; wears size 4 in shoes
