Lights

We put up a few Christmas lights outside in the back yard this  year.  Reese and Grant were napping when I started, but they woke up in time to come help me finish.  They sat in their cars while I finished up with the lights, then we drove around the back yard several times.  They like to race each other in the cars.

Later that night, they kept wanting to go to the back door to look out at the snowman and lights outside.  They didn't pay too much attention to our little tree, but they love to look at Grandma's tree at her house!  She has it blocked off so they can't get to it, but Reese just loves to stare at it.  Grant didn't care too much for it, until you got him close enough so he could grab the ornaments.

Holiday Parade

Belleville's Holiday Parade was the day after Thanksgiving.  Michael had to work, so Reese and Grant and I met Beth, Lori, Sydney and Morgan to watch the parade.  Grandma and Gramps were also there.  It was a nice sunny day, but the wind was pretty chilly.  The kids enjoyed sitting on the curb with the gilrs and watching as the bands and the dogs went by.  Grant slept through the first part of the parade, but he woke up in time to see the most important part....SANTA!  (hohoho, as Reese calls him).  Poor Morgie had to share her baby doll with Reese and her Banana!  Luckily she wasnt too distraught about this and they all had a good time.

Chillin in the sun while we waited for the parade

Reese Clapped a few times when the band played and Grant enjoyed the sirens.  They both enjoyed watching the dogs walk by.

Thanksgiving

Posting a little late...

GOBBLE GOBBLE!  That is what Reese says about Thanksgiving! We first went to Marissa for the Phelps Family gathering.  We had a good time visiting with family while the babies walked/crawled around the hall with Caleb and Joel (Jarica and Russ's kids).  They enjoyed eating their first turkey and chocolate pie!
After we wore the kids out, we went home to recoup for a few hours before the next family function.  We went up to Charlie's for the Whitaker Family gathering.  We had a good time, Grant slept through dinner.  But Reese enjoyed walking around and playing with the other kids.
We are so Thankful for our two miracles Reese and Grant!  We are thankful for each other and our families and friends.  We are also thankful for the chance to have an Angel looking down on us and the impact that he made in his short time here on earth.  We love you Chaffin!  We love you Reese and Grant!
