15 month appt

R&G had thier 15 month appointment on Tuesday January 17th with the Dockey.  The appointment went well and Reese even got the Dockey to laugh!  She was showing off how she knows were her booty was, and he really got a kick out of that.

Both Grant and Reese were happy playing in the waiting area, but they were not so happy once they got back to the rooms.  Reese was fake crying everytime any of the nurse's came near her.  But she got over it once the dockey was done and he was finishing up.  That is when she got the laugh out of him.  Grant was good during the appointment, he just wanted to touch the scale and of course didnt want to lay down to be measured, ect.
The Dockey checked Grant's glands in his neck (grandma was concerned), but he said that they didnt seem too large or anything to be concernced about.
We talked about the Pacifiers...and he said the sooner the better to get rid of them...
Here are the stats:

Reese
Height 33 inches
Weght 26.12 lbs

Grant
Height 33 inches
Weight 25.06 lbs

They got 3 shots this time around and screamed and screamed...by the time we got them out the door they were better.  Gave them some tylenol when we got home and they seemed better.  They both a small fever the next day, but otherwise they did great.

Springtime in January

We have had a few days of really nice weather this January.  One of those days, I took off work to get some bloodwork done and to take Grant to the doctor (he had a very pink eye and was pulling his ear, had a fever for a few days the week before).  Of course when we go to the doctor...no pink in the eye, and he is flirting and laughing with the nurses!  Oh well, at least we dont' have to give him any medicine or worry about it anymore.
So...since it was almost 60 that day, I decided that we should go to the park.  Grandma and Gramps met us there.
Reese immediately was ready to walk around and check out the park.  Grant did not want to get down and try any of these things.

Grant finally started enjoying the park once we got him on the swim with Mommy and then in the swing by himself.

Then once we got them on the slides after the first few times down; they did not want to do anything else!

They also really liked the Merry Go Round!
After letting them play for a while, we took a short walk on the walking trail.  Grant rode in the stroller while Gramps pushed.  Reese prefferred to walk with Grandma and me.  She was busy waving at the park workers and trying to follow them around!  After the big walk, we went home and took a nice nap with mommy and were ready for daddy to come home!
