St.Patrick's Day 2012

Wearing our Green, we headed to the Belleville St.Patrick's Day Parade!  It was a perfect day for a parade.  The sun was out and the weather was very spring like!
We met Beth, Bryan, Syd, Morgie and Lori there.  The girls rode in on their wagon, while Reese and Grant drove in on their stroller.
We put our blanket out, so we could all sit and watch the parade.  The kids had a great time together.  Grant was enjoying drinking his water and eating his goldfish while he watched the people, cars, firetrucks and dogs go by.  Reese just wanted to be in the parade and would have been happy to walk along in it.  They really enjoyed seeing the dogs painted green and the few bands that went by.
We got lots of beads and tootsie rolls thrown our way!!
After a little while, Grandma and Gramps stopped by to sit with us as well.  Sydney and Morgie's Grandma Sandy also sat with us.
After a while Reese and Grant got restless, so we walked them over to the courthouse area and let them walk around.
They were so wore out after the festivities that they fell asleep in the car on the 5 minute drive back home.

HOP - 17 months

Grandpa and Grandma have been trying to teach Reese and Grant to Hop.  They both have different styles at going about it.  Reese does a more progressive almost walking hop and Grant just bends his knees quickly up and down!  They are getting so mobile and really able to do more and more things.  They are now 17 months old.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR SUESS!!!

REESE LOVES TO SIT ON DADDY'S SHOULDERS--WEEEEEEE

DADDY HAS JUST AS MUCH FUN!

SNACK TIME

ALMOST BEDTIME!!!
Reese is really immitating everything we do and repeating most words we say.  She has the eye rolling down to a creepy science!  I told Michael she looks like one of his zombie's when she does it, so maybe she got it from that...Michael says I roll my eyes up like that, and she gets it from me.  Hard to say.  last night Reese was immitating Shadow...he was scratching his ear, and so was she!  hahaha.  We thought Reese had an imaginiary friend, because she kept saying that sounded like bobby, but we now think she was actually saying puppy...even though there was no puppy in site!
Grant is really enjoying running down the hall way.  He loves to be chased by me, his dad and his sister.  He just runs and laughs the whole times.  He doesnt close his eyes as much as he used to, so hopefully he will stop doing that and stop running into things!

The weather has been so nice, almost summer time out there!  We have been playing outside more and more, with bubbles and riding in thier cars or taking a walk in the stroller.  They both really like to be outside playing!  Grandma and Grandpa have taken them to the park a few times this week, and Grant cried when they had to leave.  He was just having so much fun!

Grant's First Haircut

On Friday, March 2nd (Dr.Seuss' Birthday!)  Grant got his first haircut at the Hair Saloon for Men.  Our little man did such a good job!  At first he was being very shy and didn't want anything to do with Kelly or this special seat he was sitting in.  Kelly gave him a sucker and at first he didn't want it, but then he warmed up to her.  He liked it when she started raising the chair...at first.  After a bit, Daddy gave him his phone, and this helped to get him through!
Warming up to Kelli with the sucker

Up he goes in the big chair!

No way!  I am not wearing this thing!

Thanks Mommy and Daddy for getting me some Phineas & Ferb

oh man, I hope this goes quick

Check out my spiked hair!

Look out Ladies!

Cheese!!

Sorry Ladies, You'll have to wait in line!

After his haircut, he was playing golf and checkers while he waited for daddy to get his hair cut.
