On Saturday June 18th, we went down to Marissa. We stopped to visit with the Coleman's for a little while, then we headed downtown to the parade. Grandma and Grandpa were there to greet us and sit with us. We also got to see Aunt Connie, Cousin Melanie, Cousin Laura, Cousin Madeline, Freddie and Jerry, several of the Dickey's, The Sinns, The Macke's and the Laumbatus' were also all sitting with us.

The Parade theme this year was Music of the Ages. There were several floats for different eras of music. We got to see Jody as Elton John on the 80's float!
Reese and Grant got to have some beads that were thrown out and Reese got a pretty pink headband. Daddy got lots of tootsie rolls.
After the parade we went down to the park to eat and see if we knew anyone else. We did get to see Sue, Mike, Madi and Janet.
