The Whitaker Family Blog: What is this wet stuff???

ITS RAINING!!!! We are finally getting some much needed rain today! And some cooler weather, well 95, but that's better than 105! Sad that it feels nice out. We are still getting our house ready for the market around here. We have gotten a lot of things boxed up and moved over to my mom's house and other things stored int he garage and basement. Surprisingly our house still seems full of things! ha. We have been painting the basement, the side door and some of the windows. The back door has finally been put in and ready to be painted. Yesterday we pulled up some of the grass invading our landscaping and filled it up with new mulch, then we cleared off the back porch and put our good chairs out front to make the house look inviting. I even was able to do some work from home for a few hours...no wonder I ended up with a migraine!
The kids lounged on the raining morning while mommy worked on getting the attic cleaned up. Daddy fixed the walls upstairs once mommy was done. Reese and Grant had fun coloring and reading in the afternoon. Then Reese pushed Grant and he fell over backwards, hitting his head on the end table. luckily he wasnt hurt. But Reese felt really bad, and kept telling him she was sorry.
